New Construction
FAQs
-
What will the Pavilion and Church look like?
We invite you to explore the galleries on the Church Center app to see images of the design and the latest updates on each phase of the project.
-
How much will the new church cost?
The estimated cost for the new church and pavilion is approximately 11.9 million. This figure includes construction, design, and other associated expenses. We are committed to transparency and will provide updates as we move forward with the project.
-
How will we fund the project?
During November, we invite you to pray about how the Lord is leading you to contribute to this project. This offering will be separate from your regular tithes and is intended to support what we're calling a "Miracle Offering." Our hope is that this offering will help bridge the gap between our needs and the amount we can secure through a loan to complete Phase 1&2
-
What is the timeline for completion?
The timeline for completion will depend on several factors, including the project's scope and funding. We are working towards a target completion date of Easter 2025 for Phase 1, but we will keep everyone updated as we progress.
-
How will this project impact our current activities?
This project will streamline our Sunday services by bringing everyone together for one service under one roof. We will still meet on Wednesday nights at the current Worship Center, but on Sundays, we'll gather at the new pavilion.
-
What will happen to our existing church building?
Once we complete phase 2, our vision for the existing church property is to transform it into a ministry hub for the community of churches. Instead of each church duplicating efforts, we envision all churches collaborating to offer a shared resource of high-quality ministries. This approach will strengthen our collective impact and better serve our community.
-
How will the new building meet the needs of The Church?
Currently, our volunteers and staff are stretched thin with three services each Sunday. Completing phase 1 will enable us to reduce to two services, allowing our volunteers to enjoy their roles again. We are also receiving a portable building as a donation to accommodate the children's department during the transition from phase 1 to phase 2. Phase 2 will have a seating capacity of 800 to 900 people, along with a spacious foyer for small groups and plenty of room for growth. This facility will also provide opportunities to develop ministers who can serve our community effectively.
-
Will there be opportunities for members to be involved?
We encourage our members to get involved in this project in various ways! If you own a business, you can submit your information to the Operations Executive for project bidding. You can also sign up to help with property clean-up or contribute financially. Every bit of assistance, no matter how big or small, is greatly appreciated!
-
What are the plans for accessibility?
Our plans for accessibility include features designed to ensure everyone can easily navigate the facility. This will involve accessible entrances, designated parking spaces, ramps, and restrooms equipped for individuals with disabilities. We are committed to creating an inclusive environment where all members of our community can participate fully in activities and services.
-
How will this project affect our finances?
This project will have both short-term and long-term financial implications. In the short term, we may experience increased expenses related to construction and renovations. However, we are already making projected loan payments to prepare for these increased costs. In the long term, we anticipate that the new facility will enhance our capacity to serve the community, potentially leading to increased attendance and support. This growth can positively impact our overall finances as we expand our ministries and resources. We’re committed to keeping everyone informed as we navigate these changes!
-
What steps are being taken to ensure the project stays on track?
We have contracted Barbara Garrett from Garrett Consulting Services as our project manager to help us stay on track. Her role includes overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of our projects. This involves defining project goals, creating schedules and budgets, coordinating team efforts, managing resources, and communicating with stakeholders. She will ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget while also addressing any issues that may arise.
-
How will the new church be maintained?
The new church will be maintained through a combination of dedicated staff and volunteer efforts. We plan to expand our volunteer maintenance team responsible for routine upkeep and repairs. Regular cleaning and maintenance schedules will ensure the facility remains welcoming and functional. Additionally, we will encourage volunteer opportunities for members who want to contribute to the church's care. By fostering a sense of ownership among our community, we can ensure the church is well-maintained for everyone to enjoy.
-
How will the new church impact our sense of community and identity?
The new church will significantly enhance our sense of community and identity by creating a welcoming space for everyone. We aim to provide essential services, such as clean restrooms and refreshments for our emergency professionals. The facility will also feature open areas where families can enjoy outdoor activities, including places to run, play, and fish in our pond. These amenities will foster connections among community members, helping to build a stronger sense of belonging and togetherness.

hat provisions are being made for future growth?
To accommodate future growth, we are designing the facility with expansion in mind, ensuring it can be added onto as needed. We are also closely monitoring growth patterns to anticipate our needs effectively. Additionally, we are setting aside a small percentage of our budget to help cover the costs associated with this growth, ensuring we’re well-prepared for the future.
